Preparation for your new Floor Covering
Residential:
The day before your installation you will need to remove all breakables, loose items, etc. from your furniture. Also, remove all china from cabinets.
Unplug all electrical equipment. Remove books from movable bookshelves. Kitchens and utility rooms will need all appliance electrical, gas, and water
connections unhooked if they are to be moved.
Bedrooms need bed coverings removed from beds. Clear out all items in bottom of the closets. Hanging clothes can be left if they clear the floor.
Commercial:
Please have electricity on and heat or air available. You will need to have the area free from debris and cleaned and ready to go. On commercial projects
our installers do not work in one room at a time, and therefore the entire project needs to be ready to go and free from other trades.
Residential Notations:
Freshly painted walls will be subject to scratching and marring. Please try to give your pain some days to cure to help hold this to a minimum. If quarter
round or baseboard has to be removed, there will possibly be some breakage which you might have to have replaced. The installers will be as careful as
possible and try to put it all back.
Installers will do their best in making the seams. However, all seams cannot be hidden in carpet. Some will show more than others for various reasons.
The light that crosses over the seams causes them to show in some instances. Patterned carpet cannot always be perfectly matched, because of manufacturing.
They can be bowed. Our professional installers will do their very best.
